  1. No! Only females. Maybe your Lovebird is a female. Have you ever gotten blood work done to see if your bird is a he or a she. Its impossible for a male bird to lay an eggs because they do not have the reproductive organs to produce an eggs.

  2. only female of anything can produce offspring/eggs.

(except with seahorses, but that's different)

  3. no i don't have lovebirds .. but m friend ... males never lay eggs only females .. and that goes for ALL birds

  4. NO male lovebirds can not lay eggs!

  5. No they can't. They don't have the right equipment to lay eggs.

  6. Hi,

    Only females can lay eggs.

  7. No. Just like a man cannot conceive, neither can a male bird lay eggs.

Sounds like your male is actually a "SHE"! Time for a name change??

  8. Only female birds can lay eggs, that's a fact. If you previously thought your lovebird was a male, and it lays eggs, then you were wrong. Many times the only sure way to know if a bird is a boy or a girl, is if it lays an egg :)
