  5. Ya maybe in the 2 foot dash

  6. Yes, over a very short distance from a standing start. (We have fewer legs to get organised!)

  7. Anything is possible if you use you IMAGINATION

  8. what, like 10ft?

  9. Maybe if you break the horse's legs.

  10. what would be the distance?  anything more than a horses stride the man will lose at.   if it were a yard, then the man would know and probably have the advantage.   one stride and they win, otherwise they would lose everytime.

  11. I believe it is actually something like 10 to 15 metres, it takes mr. horsey a moment to get all those longs levers moving.

  12. of course not...

  13. a trained runner could win a 15yard dash against a horse

  14. At River Downs last year they had one of the Cincinnati Bengals race a horse.  He said he could run faster than a horse, so they set up a race to find out.  The guy won.  However, the guy got a huge head start and the horse had to break out of a starting gate.  Horses don't get into stride and start racing fast until a few strides out of the gate.  By the time the horse could find its best stride, the guy had already crossed the finish line since he got such a big distance head start.  Horses can run 40 miles per hour.  People cannot actually outrun a horse.

  15. A man beat a zebra and a giraffe.
