Question:

Can a man compete in the Olympics beach volleyball wearing a speedo?

I was watching the Olympics and noticed in men's beach volleyball the men would generally wear over the knee length trousers but the women would wear really small bikinis, often with their half of their buttocks exposed. I know it's a culture thing but I was just curious what the reaction would be if a very good male beach volleyball player chose to compete in a speedo and IF it would be allowed.

  1. if would only be watched by g*y guys.

  2. Although if they did wear speedos more women would probably watch but it would not be very practical. Think about it.  When they jump up to make a kill their "stuff" could fall out.  Or even at any time jumping up & down.  I don't think it's a cultural thing just more practical.

  3. Design It Well – But Let Them Choose

You’ve got a point. After all, if women can push for more comfortable uniforms and if swimmers and runners can have ‘aerodynamics’, I’d say, if you want, go for sleeker men’s BVB shorts and shirts. But let them choose. We should not force anybody to wear something if he personally finds it inappropriate.

Personally, I think, if we want to match the ladies, thread for thread, we could opt for what the male pro wrestlers sometimes wear (which can take much punishment) – tees and sturdy, 'wrestler-styled' trunks (but this usually only looks good on a ‘buffed bod’. Oh well…)

  4. Do you think they are going to permit that? and the whole world watching him?

  5. are you g*y???
