  1. it depends on how old you r. if you r 15 and up you can fly by yourself but i am pretty sure u have to have the person who owns the credit card with u when u check in and i don't think you can pay with cash. you also need government issued id to get past security or a parent or guardian with id, i always forget that part :)

  2. If you go book through a travel agent you can pay cash and buy your own ticket (if you are over 15 or 16 years of age).  Otherwise someone will have to put it on their credit card.  That person does not have to check you in but if you are under 15 you have to let the airline know you are an unaccompanied minor and someone of age has to drop you off and sign you over to the care of the airline attendant.  They will stick with you until you board the plane and someone will meet you on the other end and whoever picks you up has to sign that they have piced you up.  This is not an issue if you are over 15

    Good luck

EDIT: the reason a credit card holder does not need to be there is because when they book the ticket they will be putting your name on it.  Therefore only you need to be there.  As far as the girls at the counter know your name is the only one ever attached to that ticket

  3. You need a credit card..................

  4. a minor cannot physically buy their own ticket, someone over the age of 18 has to, they can however travel alone.

  5. you'll need a credit card to buy the ticket so someone who's 18 will have to buy it. someone under 18 can fly alone though, and you can set it up so there's a person who escorts you if you're nervous about flying alone

  6. now a days is fairly easy if you are smart enough
