Can a minor pick up mail from a post office? like 17 years old..?

If your talking about from a Post Office Box, yea.  My grandma always send us down to the post office when we were visiting when we were kids.  If for some reason the post office is holding mail for you, if it is your mail they cannot refuse to give it to you.  Checking with your local postmaster will answer any and all questions.
