I belong to a suport group, and just recently e-mailed someone who shares alot in common w/me, and we have become friends, one of the modorators of that group tapped into that email. I feel thats an invasion of our privacy. we both had close to the same personal health problem, this modorator took it apon herself to email me, and showed me bits of conversations, this friend and I had, had. I feel this was wrong, what can I do, or who can I contact to make a complaint. She also told me to just ask my friend, instead of bothering the group, I did post some of the information to the group in hopes of getting some answers. This group is called cronic-pain group. does anyone know through yahoo, or somewhere else iI can talk to, to me thats a form of hacking isn't it?

  1. someone probably shared the content of the e-mails if they were sent private and not part of the groups posts, than for the mod to have hacked into your account. you both should change your passwords. maybe that friend you e-mailed to shared the content.

I myself wouldn't bother with complaining for abuse since you cant be sure it wasn't forwarded, I'd be leery of e-mailing to that other person.
