what weapons do they have i would say a monkey anyway i mean it could get on the horses back and then batter its head  with pounds or trip it up with a banana skin but hey thats just my imagination. the way i see it in my head teh monkey is wearing army trousers a black vest and a red head band as well as weilding a knife

Depends on the size of the monkey, but I don't think so. Unless you ban headbutts, as in Muay-Thai; that would make it harder for the horse.

Hmmm, well, let's see...

The horse is certainly bigger and stronger, so if it got in one good kick or bite, the monkey would be in big trouble...

On the other hand, the monkey is smarter and a lot more nimble, so if it could get on the horse's back or up on it's head and hang on, the horse would have a lot of trouble dislodging it and the monkey could poke it in the eyes or pound on it's head...

The monkey could also climb up a tree and throw things at the horse and the horse would have no way of getting at the monkey then...

A monkey also has the advantage of being able to use tools, so it could beat the horse with a stick or piece of pipe, while a horse can't use tools...

So, I guess I'd have to go with the monkey.   But what I want to know is, why are they fighting in the first place?

Umm well , i never thought about it , but i guess in a field  the monkey   would be in for a smacking.

In a jungle though the monkey could just stay in the trees an throw coconuts and knock the horse out. Or if you gave the monkey a gun and showed him how to use it he could win that way too.

So it would depend on where they are , and what tools the monkey has .
