Can a new sponsor apply for new visa for me?

i leave uae six months ago and my visa is now cancelled.can a new employer apply for a new visa for me.my visa was automatcally cancelled last June 16,2008.

Your visa is automatically null and void after being outside of the country for more than six month, but is not cancelled at MOL. First your former visa officially has to be cancelled before an new one can be obtained.

Please be aware that you may have to expect a six months ban starting from date of cancellation. In this case you still can obtain a visit visa but you are only allowed to work in the Freezone.
