Can a non U.S. citizen living outside the USA when he dies, but has family in the USA, be buried in the USA?

  1. Sure.  If the family has the money to bring him back and pay for a burial plot.

  3. I don't see any issue with it. Not to sound callous but for Customs purposes a deceased person is simply cargo. If you purchase a plot, hire a mortuary, and pay the airline to transport his body it should be fine. Sorry for your loss.
