  1. Yes but I don't recommend it.

I know a guy who drills a hole in the case for the butane gas (not lighter fluid!!!), squirts the gas in and then seals it with a self tapping s***w.

That is pretty dangerous with regards to fire and explosions so you have been warned.

  2. No...dude, throw it away, we don't want to read about your horrific accident!

  3. Your talking butane, right?

Its a pain in the gas, but doable. (ha)

First, you gotta take all the stuff like flint wheel, actuator lever, all the stuff on top.

Then open the adjuster valve ALL the way, then you need needle nose pliers to pull the flame tube up, while at the same time, pushing down with the refill can, takes some practice.

Then s***w the adjuster back down, re assemble.

watch which way you took the flint wheel off and put it back the same way.

  4. No. Disposable lighters use a completely different mechanism than lighters that use liquid fuel. The two are not compatible in any way.

  5. NO. A lighter, such as the butane type, the fuel changes to a gas, even if you can not see it happen. The Zippo fuel remains as a liquid.. This is why Zippo lighters have a wick, and butane lighters do not.
