Question:

Can a pedestal sink be installed next to a heater vent?

My parents want to replace their wall mounted bathroom sink with a pedestal sink. The heater comes up through the corner of the floor and the wall, therefore the sink stand would be about 1' away from the heater vent. Is there a minimum distance the pedestal needs to be away from the vent?

  1. You sould be able to put it in but you may not get much air out of the vent when you do. What type of heater is it?

  2. your ok, the pedestal cant go on fire(unless of course it's a plastic one).
