At various points in my life I've experienced aspects of all three of them.

  1. People contain different balances of all three doshas, usually (sometimes it's closer to only two).  The percentage of each can and most definitely does change.  Babies and children, for example, have much more kapha in them when they are young.  You can see this in their more rounded faces and bodies.  I have seen some very kapha dominant children go on to develop far more vata and pitta bodies, minds, emotions as they grow up.

  2. scientific research suggests that yes, it can

oh wait, i mean, doshas don't exist

  3. Your dominant dosha is supposed to stay the same always, but you can have aspects of all three that can change at any time. Thus making it seem as if your dosha has changed. But my ayurvedic teacher said you have them same one from birth to death. Hope that helps!
