Can a person be in love with another person who they have never met?

personality / character / something they have said [you cant get it out of your head] you may like someone for their humor

wealth

piety / modesty

you can fall in love with someones voice

maybe just because there the opposite s*x

so careful people

I'm assuming you're talking about an on-line relationship?  If so, then yes it is possible.

When I was 12, I met a boy in a chat room.  We had an on-line relationship for several years.. We finally met in person my senior year of high school, and we've been happily married for 4 years now.  

I feel like I must warn you, though, that long distance relationships are HARD.  Seriously.  Looking back now I can say it was worth it, but there were times when I really wasn't so sure.

might be possible for others..but even still i wouldn't consider that "true" love...for me i have to get to know the person Inside and outside and it usually takes alot of time...Best of luck : )

You can be infatuated with a person you never met but not in love.

In order to fall in love with someone, you have to meet them face to face and spend some time with them. Otherwise you're just in love with a fantasy. A picture and words on a screen do not make a real person.

it really depends on if your talking about like someone your actually talking to, or someone on Tv... long distance relationships work all the time.. but being "in love" with the blonde on that show that comes on at that time is pretty silly... it all depends on your situation..
