  1. The wireless mouse has an independent power supply from the computer. It gets activated though wireless transmission, reception and or radiation, not enough to carry high voltage electricity. The worst freak electrical discharge of a wirelles mouse is the rating of its battery which is not enough to fry an ant. Its just like you are holding a cellphone or a walkie-talkie during a lightning storm outside the house didn't even caught the lightning. Lightning may damage your computer due to abnormal voltages entering your computer, but will not pass the current to mouse, unless the mouse will go outside and climb on the tree, then the tree gets struck by a lightning!

But the squirrel should be hit first!

  2. yes it is pretty easy

  3. I would'nt have thought so...It must be the static stored in your body thats causing it....

  4. So long as you are not touching any part of the metal on the computer, I'd imagine not, though I'd not be using my computer during a lightening storm anyway.

    Just me.
