  1. Yes, sometimes.  If you relocate due to your health, to be near medical services, but you have to be able to work.  Check with your state unemployment office - or the office in the state you are moving to.


  2. If you lost your job, are collecting unemployment and decide to move you can often transfer the unemployment.  

    You cannot quit your job because you want to move and then get unemployment.


  3. the only reason I am aware of is that if your spouse was forced to move for a new job and you followed him.
