  1. You can get alot of viruses in your computer by using "free" music websites.  You can use itunes, Rhapsody, Walmart or Amazon.  You will have to pay per song, but they will not have viruses attached to infect your computer.  You can play the music on your computer once you download it.

  2. MP3 players are portable music devices, that have music files on the MP3 player which are played on the MP3 player. They have a mini hard-drive which stores all the songs and software.

Yes, people can download songs to keep. iTunes requires you to buy the songs off their program, which you can find at http://www.apple.com/itunes/

There are other programs that promise you free songs, but this is illegal, and I would stay away from this.

Sites that can help your understanding of MP3 players and downloadable music:

  3. There have been programs on the internet allowing users to download music onto their computers since the mid 1990s. I believe Napster was first to capitalize on this idea.

  4. Just download limewire.com and install it

  5. yes but the songs r not free u have to pay if ur using i tunes or sumthing else

but u can download frostwire and download free songs

but it may sumtimes give u viruses...

  6. I suggest that you type Pandora radio in the search bar. You can get the kind of music you like to listen to but you can't carry it around with you like with a mp3 player. I use it all of the time.
