  1. Yes. At least some of them...for example, some people have problems with their gag reflex, and that makes it hard to swallow certain foods, or pills, or whatever. However, there are a number of ways to "beat" this problem, one of them being hypnosis. Others take less drastic measures, like simply practicing.

    Other reflexes can also be suppressed by repeatedly suppressing them. After continued suppression, we may lose our reflex responses. However, we have these responses for a reason, so it's probably better not to get to this point.


  2. No that is why it is called a reflex reaction, you can't control it. It is an automatic response.

  3. theres two kinda reflexes...conditioned and unconditioned...the conditioned ones you can control...but 99%of the unconditioned ones you can't
