  1. if they can support it with sound reasoning and they can defend it, then theres no reason that they cannot make up a new philosophy.

  2. ...your philosophy is for yourself in your approach to dealing with various life situations...

...lying is deceiving another for personal purposes...

    ...thanks for asking...

  3. Yes!  Mu husband and I decided to live a simple life and we cut off money to all our kids.  they are adults and his daughters and my son were angry at first, but they have no choice.  we are not a source of inheritance!  We will die broke and happy!

  4. Each person develops her own philosophy.

    Usually it is less articulated.

The measure of a philosophy, or perspective on various issues, is logic:  are the statements and arguments valid and sound?

Those two conditions, plus personal awareness and sincerity, distinguish a philosophy from falsity and inauthenticity.

"The Path of the Higher Self," Mark Prophet,

    "A Philosophy of Universality," O. M. Aivanhov.

  5. Philosophy, philosophy. Note upper case and lower case 'p'. We all have to adopt a philosophy of some sort, even if we don't use such a grand name for it, it is still a philosophy  of sorts,to maintain some sort of order in our lives.

Though I don't see the connection with 'lying'.

  6. yeah they can... if it sounds reasonable.
