Can a person whose parents are both emigrants be president?

just something i was just thinking if i was born in the united states and my parents are both emigrants (from Mexico and Brazil) with US citizenship could i run for president of the united states?

  1. If that person was born in America, then yes.  If you are born on American soil - then you are American and eligible to run for President- when you turn 35.  

    That was the big issue last year with the Republican party and illegal imigration- the fact that they would have children and the children would be legally American citizens and eligible for all the same benefits as the rest of us.  Which is the way it should be.  


  2. Yes, if you are a natural born citizen of the US and over 35, you can hold that office.
