  2. Yes, there are guaranteed issue life insurance policies. There are no medical questions, no medical examinations and no medical tests.

    Surely there is a catch. Absolutely correct the policies have a very limited death benefit for the first two or three years. And of course, the premium will be significant.

    Insurance underwriters were not born yesterday so they know that a guaranteed issue life policy with no medical questions is going to attract people who have serious issues and cannot secure life insurance. Hence high premiums and limited benefit periods.
