I am currently working in Saudi as Engineer & has got a job in Dubai. My current employer in Saudi does not intend to send me on visa cancellation. I will be able to go to India only on Vacation on Exit / Re-entry visa. Can I still be able to come to UAE on a employment visa? Will the Government of UAE stamp residence visa on my passport.

Regards,

Hameed

  1. go there with a gun, they wont dare to check u.

  2. yes of course! I am also an Engineer who used to work in KSA but now I am here! I have my exit & re-entry visa from my former company in KSA when me and my wife enter in UAE for visit, then I apply for a job and got one! they don't care about your visa in other country, as long as you have an entry permit here in UAE and with your valid passport then there will be no problem for you to enter in UAE.

If one of the register company here in UAE will hire you, they will arrange everything for you, from your employment visa, medical and insurance up to transferring on your passport. but be careful of choosing your company, because others are going to give all the expenses on their employee. just be careful in choosing the right one.

  3. Yes you can still enter the UAE if you've got a valid residence visa from Saudi Arabia, but you won't be able to get an employment visa based on your Saudi visa, however you may apply for a job while in the UAE and if you have an offer then you can cancel your Saudi visa and ask your UAE employer to apply for a UAE employment visa.

There are different categories of residence visas in UAE

    1. Investors Visa

    2. Employment Visa

    3. Family VIsa ... etc
