Can a person with a PhD in Sociology from Oxford get a job at an investment bank?

I'd have thought so.  I went to Oxford for my undergraduate degree and half of the people I was there with went on to be investment bankers with their bachelors degrees (in a variety of subjects) so a PhD will put you in a good position.  I think with somewhere like Oxford on your CV it's not so much about the subject you take but an indicator of your abilities and the sort of thought processes you have to have been to an institution like that.
