  1. it depends on the college you want to go to... for the most part community colleges do accept a person with an employment authorization card but charges them as if they were out of state students...

    the only thing is that you would not be able to take advantage of any financial aid because for that you would need to be a permanent resident...

    but, it doesn't hurt to ask so go for it and better yourself... GOOD LUCK!!!


  2. NO.  EAD only allows you to temporarily work.  No school.

    To go to school, all non-citizens must obtain a student visa in their home country, and they must leave upon completion or termination of their studies.  Students are forbidden to work.

    You can do one or the other.  That's it.

  3. EAD card lets you work in US legally, not a visa or immigrant status.

  4. Employment  = work

    college = school /learning/studying...think about why the word employment is printed on the card.
