  1. That would depend on the fish.

    For example, dwarf puffers are adventurous and like to explore, so they need more space than guppies, who only 'need' a friend to bug in order to be not 'bored' even though both fish could technically live in a fish bowl.


  2. Definitely....it's a living thing.  Imagine yourself living an an 8 square foot room and someone tossing food in once a day.

  3. It's not so much boredom that you see a fish in a small bowl suffering from, it's ammonia poisoning and lack of oxygen. It's not bored, it's dieing.

  4. yes because like any animal have feelings fish swimming on their own will get bored so they need a companion and a tank to live in not a bowl
