Can a philippino apply for a korean visa in the U.S.?

My wife is a philippine national, i am stationed in korea and we are going to the states can she apply for a korean visa at the korean embassy in the U.S.

  1. You are just visiting the US?  Does she have the proper documentation to do that?  If so then yes she should be able to use a Korean embassy in the US to get a visa.

    While you are in Korea, she can be limited to what she can do on the base unless she has command sponsorship.  You will have ot go through that process first.  If it is accomplished then they will pay for her to move back with you, otherwise you may be paying the bill yourself.  If you are going to be moving back to the US, you should also start doing all the necessary paperwork for her to become a legal resident of the US.
