  1. No, it's possible.  Get a big enough piece of paper and you can do it.  I've folded one eight times.  A guess mythbusters finally got one wrong.

  2. you can fold it more than 7 times because the task doesn't specify whether or not if you have to fold it onto itself.  Example you can fold each corner in a different direction then fold it another way and another way as long as it has folds or creases in the paper that should count as a fold.

  3. Mythbusters did NOT say you can't fold a piece of paper more than seven times -- in fact they got one to fold more times.

  4. no its impossible

  5. Why are you asking this question? Try it, that is much easier than waiting for someone to answer you, which could be incorrect.

Surely you can find a piece of paper.

  6. It is difficult to do.  Get a large piece of very thin paper.  When you get to your last fold it is more like curving the paper back on itself.  It's like trying to fold the Sunday newspaper several times.  There is no scientific reason why it can't be done, it's just a practical matter that it just gets harder and harder.

  7. If you do not fold it in half each time it can definitely be done. Also if do not always fold it over and in to itself. Sometimes fold the outer folds out and not always in works best sometimes fold it diagonally and in to triangles.

  8. Try it.
