  1. Yes, they can

    The Cl-65 is a type that is shared by all those models of CRJ.  A pilot must only undergo "differences" training, which consists of basically a couple hours of systems classes and maybe a sim checkout, followed by a line check with a company check airman.


  2. That is correct, and it is a big advantage for reducing training costs for a company that operates only CRJ's. However, the pilots still need "differences training", which can be up to three days, plus they must meet the currency requirements for make and model.
