  1. no there isnt a way, The Playstation 2 was created for gamers who arent PC gamers, along with most other consols. But no there is no way to

  2. Yes, there's a way, a pc gamer might not know one but a hacker always knows.

    1) Video capture card/device: These can cost $50, maybe a bit less. Search around a bit, maybe you'll be lucky. You'll want one with the appropriate input for your area (composite for USA, SCART for Europe) or better yet Component video for progressive scan. Use your capture device's driver to relay the picture input to it to your pc's screen. Many TV tuner cards count as this type of device if they contain an A/V input.

    2) Maybe you're lucky enough to have a monitor with component or composite video input. Not likely but worth a check, it happens with some newer monitors, then you could just plug the ps2 into the monitor.

    3) If your monitor is just vga, dvi and maybe hdmi, there are devices (overseas from the US and Europe) that actually convert signals between analog and digital formats. I don't know how well they work. They're about $30 to $40 and I don't know if they're legal to import.

    4) The ps2 linux devkit, which you'd probably have to find used online, included, if I remember right, a vga cable which allowed it to connect to a vga monitor when it was running linux, that was the catch of course, only when it was running linux, didn't work for games.

Best bet would be the video capture or tuner card/device. Popular item, legal everywhere and easy to get, and inexpensive options.
