  1. No, one at a time.


  2. The older ones could NOT. Not sure about the newer laser ones??

  3. No, LIDAR, or laser as it is more commonly known is 1 target specific. A police officer using a "laser" can only lock in 1 vehicle's speed at a time.

    That doesn't mean that an officer can't use it to apprehend multiple vehicle's. An officer could use the laser to obtain a vehicle speed for 1 vehicle and then use it for another vehicle right next to it or behind it and then apprehend both.
