'm having issues with my ex boyfriend. we broke up november 2007, and he's still trying to talk to me. he keeps 'finding' things of mine, like stuffed animals or thing's he once had and keeps trying to return them. numerous times i have told him to STOP talking/contacting me, i have no desire for you in my life. every few months i have some means of communication from him, but i IGNORE it completely. he has not been violent with me, nor has he threatened me. however, he collects knives, and is really psycho. he's possessive and controlling and i want nothing to do with him. he spraypainted a sign a block from my house, knowing i drive that way. i do not have dates or times of a lot of encounters i have had with him. i do not know what i should do, but is there some sort of restraining order i can get? thanks.

  1. Go to your local police station and file a Restraining order. If he comes within 100 yards of you, your house, or your work he can be arrested. It's free and last 6mths. If you are caught texing or calling him than this would void the order. Change your number yet?

  2. Not knowing your state of residence makes your question hard to answer.  Every state has different ways of handling your situation.  It would be best for you to just contact your local Police Department or Sheriff's Department for that answer.  Call them and ask for an Officer to come and talk to you.  They will know best how to help you.

  3. I AM OFFICIER RIVIERI. NOW OBVIOUSLY YOUR PARENTS DONT PUT A FOOT UP YOUR BUTT QUITE ENOUGH.

  4. This is infatuation with you still.

Will not let go and can or may, become violent at sometime down the line.

You can get a restraining order on him, as a nuance, or deterrence in your life.

From what you say. You may also get a stalking order against him, as he has been after you?? (To a small degree, but still it is a shot.)

Log all incidents time and dates that he bothers you and then take to a judge for a restraining order.

Look at your cell phone bills and see on messenger if you still have any conversations with him.
