Can a police officer come on private property to question the security guards?

In GA. Can a police officer ride through private property and ask the security guards to show their weapon permits, business license, certifications etc... Please give me case law, or GA. Codes if possible.

    Because there is people out there or rent a cops that have weapons and dont have any weapons or guard card permits. Police officers can go anywear they want. Except into somens house.

    An example is like a house they can arrest someone drunk on the porch and the yard it is accesible to the public. A condo building is not a Country or anything like that .

    It was not illegal what they did we always ask for guard cards when we see security guards

  3. If the community is not gated, or if they were in a public access area of the property, he can in fact come and check the security officers permits. It's the same as an officer giving a handicapped violation to someone parked in the Target parking lot. It's private property, but has public access.

    Not really sure what the problem here is....................One would think the security officers would have nothing to hide and would welcome a visit by the police................
