Here's my arguments:
John Thain (former CEO of Merrill Lynch, the man most responsible for the sub-prime mortgage scam) received 161 million dollars in severance.
If instead, the CEO was a potato, there would have been no 161-million dollar "get the heck out of here" package, and much of the company's 9.8 billion dollar loss would not have been caused.
So, is a potato worth either $161M, $9.9B or are most (or all) CEOs worth less than nothing?
