  1. I don't think so. However, according to m-w.com one definition of activity is: "a process (as digestion) that an organism carries on or participates in by virtue of being alive." and one definition of process is: "a continuing natural or biological activity or function <such life processes as breathing>."

But an activity is something that involves action and movement and a process is something that happens in somekind of order.

I guess you would intertwine the words, for example; The process of photosynthesis is converting light energy to chemical energy; or, The activity of photosynthesis involves converting light energy to chemical energy.

If that makes sense, but I probably wouldn't do that.

  2. Process is generally referred to a systematic series of actions or activities.

You can refer a process as an activity or group of activities (or tasks) that spans over time, and involves a start and finish. Whereas activity is current task you are involved in.

Activity can be used in saying, for a part of process not  for whole process.

    EXAMPLE:-

You can say "what is the process of manufacturing cloth",you cannot say  "what is the activity of manufacturing cloth".

You can rather say, "what is your activity in the manufacturing cloth".
