Can a rapist use the same "i'm pro-choice" rhetoric, to justify raping, like the pro-aborts do when?

they champion infant murder?

Abortion advocates always say that the issue is not abortion, but choice. So is this dedication to choice universal? I mean, do they think people should be allowed to choose to do absolutely anything they want to do? Should people be allowed to choose to rape? To murder their neighbors? To marry animals? To drive drunk? To smoke crack? How about dance nude in public parks? So is it really pro-choice or just really pro-abortion???

  1. You're getting lost in vague comparisons and the marginal details of this debate.  It's not Pandora's Box, so stop with all this craziness and stick to the issue.

If you need help, I'll refocus it for you.  Abortion remains controversial because of the following:

    1) It is disputable whether embryos require all the same living rights as born human babies.

    2) It is likely that banning abortion will not lower abortion rates, but rather only make them less safe.

My last bone to pick is that embryos are not infants.  Stop with the propaganda.  Call them babies if you must, but even that obfuscates the issue.

  2. No. You believe abortion is murder. Pro Choice people don't. There is no difference of opinion on those other things.

  3. A woman has the right to do whatever she wants to her body. Even if I do not agree with it personally, who am I to take away their rights? You think by making abortions illegal women who do not want to carry are really going to go through with it for 9 months? There is alot of precautions to take when you are pregnant and when you don't want to be THEN WHAT? It easy to talk the talk when you aren't in other people's shoes.

  4. I mean, do they think anything should be allowed to live no matter what? should bug spray be outlawed? what about the death penalty? war? guns? what about hunting?

until you can say you never kill anything or allow anything to be killed without a fight, don't get into the issue of choosing absolutely anything.

  5. They do not think the fetus is a human.

When talking about early term abortions, I agree with them.

But when you talk about late term abortion, I think it takes a great amount of denial to look at your child's 8 and a half month sonogram & say  "Here is baby Amber" yet say partial birth abortions is fine & dandy!

The key should be the development of the fetus.

  6. Abortion is not a crime. Rape, murder, bestiality, drink driving, drug abuse and public indecency are all crimes. Perhaps you should take a citizenship exam and learn what is legal and illegal.

  7. There is no way to justify rape

i'm not pro choice, i beleive everyone has to live up to a certain ammount of responsibility, but in cases of rape/incest abortion is an important tool used to getting the victims life back on track

  8. That's twisted.

  9. No.

  10. This is a S****y analogy.

  11. I don't think rapists think one way or the other.
