Can a rat share the same cage when one is going to give birth?

i have two female rat and is due to give birth soon can the other rat stay in the same cage or should i put her in a diffrent cage

if they are both female then yes they can she will help the other female with the birthing

i wouldnt. the moms can get aggressive when it comes to babies. they will do anything to protect the babies if felt threatened. so id keep them seperate. that way one of the females or the babies dont get hurt.

Are they bonded? If so, it should be just fine to let them stay together. It would be stressful on them both to be separated from each other, if they're bonded.
