  1. Most current lockbox systems operate 365 days a year, with certain 'time of day restrictions' on access.  Unless you make specific arrangements for 'no showings', (or have the lockbox temporarily removed or restricted) the house can be shown on any day.

  2. It is a legal holiday.  Some businesses are closed.  You could tell the agent that you also are closed for the holiday.  She would respect that.

  3. Yes, the lockboxes will be able to be opened on memorial day, so you need to call your Realtor and have a note put on your listing no showings that weekend if you would not prefer them.

  4. A realtor can show the house whenever you let them.  If you allow them to show the house at 3 am, then it's ok.

  5. Do you mean Labor Day?  A house can be shown any time you give permission.  The big question is, will your agent be working on a holiday weekend?

  6. YES - They can show it anytime they want if its empty and anytime with in 24 hrs notice if there is a tenant.

  7. Yes, not many will be working, but there is no law preventing them from showing.
