Can a recently convicted felon go and visit the U.S. Virgin Islands for a wedding?

  1. I don't think that a recently convicted felon can get a passport, so I would guess no.  You should check with the state department website.


  2. Is he an American citizen?Is he free to travel as far as the courts are concerned...that is...is he awaiting sentencing or any other court dates?  He needs to check with his lawyer.  If he is not restricted by the court from traveling..then sure..he can go. No passport is needed.

  3. If he's paid his debt to society  and isn't awaiting a sentence our court date. Also, The Virgin Islands rock, but the British are even better. Lots more beaches. Try Cooper island. Best one and most secluded. Perfect for a wedding.

  4. He should check with his probation officer if he can leave his state to go a wedding in the US Virgin islands.

    Normally a USA citizen doesn't need a passport to travel to the US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico.
