  1. It's not actually an ant, it is a type of female wingless wasp. The common name, "cow killer," is thought to describe the painful sting these insects can inflict to man and animals, although it is doubtful that many cows are actually stung. It is not a fatal sting, just very painful so I think you dog and your cows are safe.

  2. Yes.

  3. kk first off swish the little sucker so you dont have to worry about that.

it probaly could. that really sucks. when ever you see one kill it. there are probbaly too many to kill though.

keep a close eye on your doggy, good luck

  4. "Cow Killers" is an exaggerated name, cause it's not likely to have killed any to  begin with.  Males don't even sting, and Females just hurt a lot if they do.

By the way, for all the people who actually think this is an ant, it's not.  It's a wasp.  The females don't have wings which make them LOOK like an ant, but that's where the similarity stops.

Let it go.  I doubt much will come from it if you do.

  5. idk i never heard on cow killing ants. but just go buy some bug spray. and  if these ants can kill your dog then never let him out by himself
