My cousins boyfriend has to register as a s*x offender because he had s*x with a girl under age. It wasn't rape or anything it was just an age deal and her parents found out. Can they decide to have children in the state of West Virginia?

  1. I believe so...

  2. Depends on the level he is registered at.  Some s*x offenders aren't allowed to even be around their own children (even if the crime wasn't against them), some can't ever live with anyone under 18 years old, some are lower level and can still move forward with their lives after serving their time so they are free to have their own children and raise them.

  3. obv.

  4. As of yet there is nothing stipulating RSO from having their own children and being around them. The only time courts put restrictions on their own children is when they have harmed one of them or are considered an extreme risk to all children.

  5. yes they can.

  6. yes they can have children most of the time they have certain stipulations on who they can be around but the cant stop you from seeing your own kid unless you have a crime against them but i live in ohio

  7. of course he can :)

s*x offender or not, he's still human and has the right to have a family

  8. if they wanted to forbid him from having children he'd have to have a vasectomy.
