Can a regular citizen join the CIA?

After college, I was thinking of joining the Central Intelligence Agency. I was thinking of doing a professionalism in biology or maybe information technology, then hoping if I could join them.

Please, don't give me any bull c**p about how the CIA have "professionally trained agents" that go undercover all over the world and are like the "one man army" like something you'd see in James Bond, and how I shouldn't join them or I'll get killed in action or back stabbed for some particular unknown reason.

This town that I've been in is just too peaceful. College is going to be a blast, but seriously after that, it's going to be the same AGAIN. Everything is just too peaceful around me so far. Oh sure, you can talk about how there is violence in the country, but I don't really care. I'm talking about myself. There's always been violence in the world and there always will be. Violence is something typical everyone sees everyday, so don't argue about that.

So after an unnecessarily long summary of the CIA, can I join them immediately after college depending on what I major in, that would be useful to them? If so, how? Don't give me their website URL because I've already seen it.

Just go to the CIA careers web page

And you can see wht they are looking for.

You have to apply.  Look at their website and find their link to careers.  You do not have to be in the government or military.

Every one I know who works for CIA started out in the Military.

You are probably not qualified for that type of work, though.

Talk to your local Army Recruiter to find out.

Dont make things so difficult..If you meet the qualifications for the position you are interested in then yes you can apply after college..

For many positions college is preferred and not mandatory..

Read this job advertisement and pretend you were going to join after college and look if you would qualify..

The CIA hires many people for many positions..

Most people have no idea as to what the CIA actually does and most people are unaware that other agencies exist that do a whole lot more then the CIA, but since CIA is famous many only look into that agency.

Yes you can join the CIA.  With or without college.  Although college is preferred with the CIA.  Depending on your intelligence and your test scores of the 4 hour exam they give you, you may qualify to work armed security.  And if you feel so strongly that you can aide the CIA please do because those of us who serve in the military are tired of being your d**n bullet sponge.  So please go to the CIA and gives us some really good intelligence, MR. Intelligent.
