Can a replica football jersey numbers be altered??

So my girlfriend bought me a replica Steve Young jersey from 49ers.com but she had to have it "customize" because they didn't offer it already made, long story short she orders the jersey with the number 08 instead of just 8, can i take the jersey somewhere to have the 0 peeled and the 8 re-centered???

I don't think a replica jerseys number can be changed  cuz the number is ironed on   which means  its kinda never gonna come off

But if you have the money  just buy a new one

Just order a another one. It would/might be just as expensive to hire a good taylor or seamstress to do the alteration.. 40-60 dollars... I got a estimate  to have the J.Jones name plate changed to A. Jones. The name plate for sold for 15 and the alteration for 25.....I'm just gonna wait for the replica to come out..
