id imagine yes.. but how well? i want to get a low-cost project bike going but im not sure if i want rear suspension or not. its mainly going to be a cruise bike but i dont want the rigid frame to limit its abilities too much, because i like to mess around on dirt and trails and what not. thanks!

  1. Your question and explanation really dont make any sense...you want a rigid frame but dont want to limit its abilities, yet you want to mess around on dirt and trails? HUH?

If youve got a street bike with a rigid frame you wont be taking it off road dude. lmao. I can picture it now...Ill spare you the disasterous details i envision, it aint good.

to answer the wheelie question...dude..once again..its a rigid frame for a rigid reason. It isnt made / designed to "wheelie". Im sure it would bring the front wheel off the ground, but thats not a wheelie. Most rigid frames are designed for the choppers, longer rake etc... you can muster up the front no problem, but 12 inches isnt a wheelie, although your harley guys may all claim to ride wheelies, ive yet to be impressed by one in 27 years of riding.  If you have envisioned yourself on a street bike with a rigid frame doing 12 oclock wheelies youve no business on a bike in the first place.

Im going out on a very short limb here and assume you dont ride, and if you have any experience at all its not much. Not bashing you bro, just pointing out your quest for rigid wheelies and trail riding makes as much sense as a rain suit in the desert.

I love the rigid look and feel, you get it all, but you suffer in other areas as well. Azz hurts, back kills and throttling thru a turn in the wet can be an artform in of itself. best of luck.

  2. you can wheelie a chopper no problem I do it all the time. also if your into drag racing the rigid frame is best because the power gets to the back wheel faster because no suspension to flex

  3. Did you ever watch Evil Knevil?

  4. then what you want is a dual purpose bike. look at each vendors web site and youll find them listed as that, and they do-do wheelies
