I completed culinary school, but my diploma never was signed by the school president can I sue for a refund? Is there a statute of limitations?

  1. Sounds like you are trying for the Lawsuit Lotto.

  2. Doubtful.  Any job you apply for won't likely ask for a copy of your diploma anyway.  They will want a copy of your transcripts instead.  What is the big deal?  Just contact them and tell them they forgot.

  3. Why wasn't it signed?  Did you graduate?  If so, take it in and have it signed, did you try that?  If you didn't graduate, then that's a different answer.  Sue?  No....you would be laughed out of court.  Diplomas are for show.  It's your official transcripts that get you jobs.  (college professor)  (the signature is auto-pen anyway...not real)

  4. And you cant call and see if they can sign it? Could your GPA been to low to graduate and complete the school? You cant sue them over something like this.
