If there is a two way street with no side parking and a bunch of cars, being around 100-160, block all traffic at dismissal, could the school get fined or ticketed for it? If so, please let me know where I could find information of this. Thanks!

  1. Nope. Only the drivers can be ticketed....if the cars are left unattended. If these people are actually in their cars waiting in line to pick up their kids you're out of luck.

  2. NO,But the drivers of those cars can all be ticketed for parking violations.

  3. Well I'm no Brain surgeon, but I would be reluckted to say that the people blocking the street should get fined, DAAAAAA. Get a grip. and if the School does get fined, then you ***** about taxes, hoes going to pay for that. Plus you are making a lot of Motorists mad

  4. Not the school just the people parking there can be fined......

  5. You can't fine the school. They did not block the street, the cars are the guilty parties and those who are driving them.

  6. Yes, they place a ticket on the door of the school.  If the school is still there the next day, they tow it away!  If the fines aren't paid 7 days after towing, the school is seized by the state and sold at the auction.

    LOLOL!!

Don't be silly, if cars are parked illegally, they are ticketed.  I suggest if that many cars are congregating at the school, law enforcement should be contacted regarding traffic control.

  7. Call city hall  ask for the bylaw dept. The cars will  be ticketed not the school
