can a scooter pull a motorcycle cargo trailer without affecting the fuel economy and the power of the scooter? How far can a scooter travel on the highway before having to refuel?

scooters don't have the HP, weight or brakes to pull anything bigger than your "little red wagon.

any time you add weight, you will affect fuel economy, and performance...

i would not recommend pulling a trailer with a scooter, even if it is one of the bigger ones, they are not built to do that.  even if you do pull one it will probably hurt the mileage due to the extra load on the motor.
