It can say "I leave my clothes to my sister Sarah, my house to my mother" and so on.

  2. No, because the paper must have your signature and witnesses and must be notarized by a notary. Anyone could email something like that and say it is you. A beginner hacker to bet into your email account and send an email from you to anyone they want to. So no, an email will is not valid.

I was told by a probate lawyer when my father passed away that the document that I found, that was notarized, was nt considered a WILL cause of certain words had to be in it and at least half of it had to be written in my fathers own hand writting in order for it to be considered a will. But Please consider talking to a lawyer first.
