Can a seller delete someone's bid on ebay?

This is my first time selling on ebay and the person with the highest bid sent me a msg and told me he/she made a mistake about bidding on my item and wont be able to pay for it if he/she win. There is about 1 day and 20 hrs left till the auction end. Is there anyway I could delete that buyer's bid without having to cancel the whole auction?

You can cancel their bid up to 12 hours before the auction is scheduled to end.

goto the help category, type in unwelcome bid under search, use the "cancel unwelcome bids" link and go from there.
