Which gaskets would also be significant.

Top end gaskets will be much simpler on a 2 stroke engine as opposed to a 4 stroke.

With the right tools and a service manual, anything is possible.

Very easy, just remember patience. Use gasket remover (chemical) and a "made for" gasket scraper, not a screwdriver or anything else. If you gouge the mating surface, your new gasket will leak (always use new gaskets). Clean, clean and clean again.

Yes I rebuilt my motor, cams, big bore kit, heads and intake. Just get a good manual and any (how too) DVD you can get your hands on. I have never turned a wrench before this. Just take your time and if you are not sure stop and ask.
