He has to miss last hour since he needs to be at hockey practice for a Junior A team 75 minutes away. I am waiting to talk to the school but they don't start work until 8/13/08.

Thanks!

  1. Our local public high school will work with a student to make sure that they graduate.   They offer online classes and afterschool classes.  The teachers will let students come in for afterschool to 'make up' time.

Homeschool is totally different from public school in our state.  They are not connected in anyway except the public school does offer private and home school students driver's training.

  2. if you have a community college in your town he could sign up for 1 class to get the units he needs to graduate

  3. Your Senior in high school can be home schooled for one subject or more that one subject. With what you describe the school may even work with him if you explain to the school counselor his situation. They may let him take a correspondent course through the school. If, not let them know that you will be home schooling him for that subject. Again I would recommend talking to the school counselor and find out what subject he needs. If you need any help with finding the subject (curriculum) he needs please e-mail me through my web site below. I am here to help in any way I can. Have a nice day.

  4. .

have your alternative program in place, and show up with your plan when teachers arrive.  keep calling the school and school board, though, most require teachers to be there partial days 2 -3 wks before students arrive
