  1. if you are missing those from the groups archives- they were deleted and cant be regained.  if any one has copies of the posts and they wrote the posts, they can resend them, only it wont fill in that gap in 110- 133, it'll be added to current thread number.

you can go into your groups activity logs and see who deleted them- as long as the archives are open to members, each member has the right and option to delete their own posts. it is also possible a moderator deleted them-

  2. If you are referring to messages missing in the Message archive - there is no way to retrieve deleted messages.

If you are the group Owner or Moderator (with the appropriate privileges), you can find out who deleted the messages!

Management / Group Activity / Web Features

Then look for messages deleted (you can do a search for "Deleted message"

You will get the following information:

    Date - Member - Activity = Deleted message #???

Therefore, you can find out who deleted the messages.  Only an Owner or Moderator (with the appropriate privileges) should be able to delete messages!  If that person deleted the messages by accident - I'd shut down the privileges for that Member ASAP!

How do I delete archived messages or topics?

You can re-send (vs. replace) messages from the message archive (that exist in the archive).  You can go into an "individual" message within the archive with the option to:

    Reply | Forward | Delete a message.

Note: you could forward the message back to the group (using the group email address), yourself or to any other individual.  But, if the message contains HTML, the formatting will be lost if you forward a message within the message:

    - Unless you FIRST copy the data (with HTML)

    - Compose your message with Rich-Text Editor (Beta).

    - Paste the copied data over the text data (default) in the message.

If the message is accessable from the group site, there is no reason to send it back to the group!  If an individual wants a copy of the message - then this is possible!

But, to send an archived message back to the group may be considered unnecessary (possible SPAM) by the group  members.
